I’m going to flat out say I loved this book; well, I loved Jake and Casey, that’s for sure!

Worth It All is the story of Paige, a single mom with a daughter in a prosthetic leg, and JT (Jake) McKinney, who lost his leg in a car accident and also has a prosthetic leg.

Jake was freaking awesome.  I loved him from the start.  Sweet and caring, and carrying some baggage from his past.  Paige took a little more time to get to like.  Here’s why.  Paige is a single mom working two jobs and going to school, trying to give her daughter a better life than she had.  I respected the hell out of her for that, I found it very admirable.  What annoyed me, however, was her willingness to accept help when it was being offered.

Paige’s daughter Casey was the life of the story.  This little girl was so adorable, and handled her limitations in a way that was truly believable.  She was a great kid character.

It was nice to revisit Matt’s brood and overall McKinney family.  I hope there are more books, but I think they are all married now:(  Overall, this was a good read and I would recommend.  PS, sorry for the short review, today is crazy busy.

Happy reading.
